First of all, I am thankful to The Almighty for his Blessings, thanks to my parents, family and friends for their prayers and love. It is a great honour and a big responsibility.
I believe that Chamber plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the Business Community of the region and the various State departments. Going forward, my priority will be addressing the core issues of our local businessmen specifically along with industry department issues, tax matters and grievances will also be at the top of my list. I will, with the support of my team, play a positive role in enhancing the exports of our region, In’Sha’Allah.
I will encourage and promote young business graduates to choose entrepreneurship and job creation as a career rather than pursuing Jobs. Effective and efficient industry academia linkage will also be managed for betterment of the local economy.
Being president of the Mirpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), I have my goals;
- To create and foster cordial working relationship among businesses; between businesses and the community at large.
- To participate actively and rather proactively in the development of public policy; as it affects economic growth and development for the state.
- To effectively express the views of the business community at appropriate levels and forums of the government, particularly on matters of relevance to Faisalabad and this area.
- To promote private enterprise, business excellence, and encourage individual as well as collective achievements.
- To reinforce the Organization through increasing its membership and resource base
